Estuary Walk helpful for 5/6
On Wednesday last week, Year 5/6 walked down to the Estuary to meet James Chubb – The Education Environmental Officer for Devon – to learn about the wildlife and ecosystems.
They then came back to school with Mr Chubb to understand about the effects that building an ASDA in this part of Exmouth would be detremental to not only the birds, but the vast array of animals that rely on the Estuary.
This was a very enjoyable day for Year 5/6, who are excited about their new understanding and are hoping to put this new information into some wonderful Literacy work.
Be sure to check out what they produce!
